Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs flank steak

1/3 cup olive oil

3-5 limes, juiced

1/2 cup fresh cilantro finely chopped

2-5 garlic cloves, fined chopped

1 tsp cumin powder

sea salt and pepper to taste

Servings: 6 servings

Instructions

  1. This recipe is best if left to marinate for 4+ hours or even better let marinate overnight.  Lightly mix all the marinade ingredients together.
  2. Coat both sides of the meat and place on baking tray or ziplock bag.  Set the timer and when ready to heat place on medium heat source.
  3. Grill the meat to your liking and let rest for five minutes before slicing the meat as small or as large as you wish into slices.
  4. Serve with side of rice, beans, fresh guacamole and chips wrapped in warm tortillas or served over french fries to make carne asada fries.
